At Source Mate, we exist for one reason: to make recruiters' lives easier.

We watched talented recruiters and hiring teams spend the majority of their day buried in sourcing, sifting CVs, and updating ATS/CRM systems, leaving little time for what they are actually great at, which is building relationships and closing placements. That did not sit right with us.

So we built Source Mate, a virtual back-office for recruiters that handles the time-consuming work so you can stay focused on what actually moves the needle.

When Usama and I started Source Mate, we were not chasing a business idea. We were solving a problem we kept seeing up close.

Recruiters are some of the hardest working people in business. They are managing clients, building relationships, hitting targets, and somehow also expected to spend hours every day sourcing candidates, formatting CVs, updating their ATS, and scheduling interviews. Something had to give.

We built Source Mate to give that time back. Not through shortcuts, but through a team that genuinely understands recruitment, how it works, what good looks like, and what it costs you when the back-office work piles up.

Over the past few years we have grown into a trusted partner for recruiters across the UK, USA, Canada, and beyond. We have helped fill thousands of roles, supported solo recruiters who needed reliable backup, and become the back-office that agencies did not know they were missing.

What I am most proud of is not the numbers though. It is the messages we get from recruiters saying they finally feel in control of their desk again.
